ConCor Networks, Inc. installed a low voltage cabling system at Great Wolf Lodge’s 20th and newest family resort in Perryville, Maryland. Systems installed included voice, data, audio/visual, closed-circuit television, and access controls for two entertainment centers (one indoor and one outdoor) and 700 hotel rooms.
Client Objectives
The customer needed a robust cabling infrastructure to support communication services throughout the facility.
Solutions
Low voltage system components installed include:
- 22 independent distribution frames connected to a single main distribution frame
- Backbone and distributed cabling system throughout the facility
- Ruckus wireless access points (WAP) in each of the 700 hotel rooms to address guest’s multi-device WiFi demands
Materials required for the 3,000-plus drops included:
- 800,000 feet of Belden Cat6 copper cabling and connectivity
- 12,000 feet of Corning single-mode fiber optic cable
- 12,000 feet of Corning multi-mode fiber optic cable
- 70,000 feet of RG11 (MATV) cable
- All associated Cat6, fiber optic, and coaxial termination and distribution hardware
